Delaney & Bonnie & friends - Motel shot 1971

Today there was a little misunderstanding. But as grown-ups we settled and we'll stick with the music. So this one is for Athos !

Almost 6 years ago I started recording and digitalizing my LP's. Why I did this one only three years ago I can't remember. Delaney & Bonnie belong to my fav's. Made some superb albums. I'm now wondering how much of their stuff is available on CD.

This Motel shot contains one of their huge hits 'Never ending song of love'.
I suppose Motel shot is only the working title : the way they were making fun/jamming in motel rooms.
To me it's almost impossible this is just a kind of 'bootleg', it must be a normal studio recording listening to this good sound.
I'm in that motel room enjoying myself at the moment. I put the tracklist and a link in the comments if you want to join.

just discovered this site, and looks very nice/promising. thanx for the Delaney and Bonnie ... take care and all the best.

Delaney & Bonnie have been a Favorite of mine since I found a bunch of their albums in my father's collection. I've never seen this one, so thanks.

I have "From Bonnie To Delaney," the "On Tour With Eric Clapton", "D&B Together". Apparently "From Bonnie To Delaney" never made it to CD.

Matt, I have them also and furthermore 72-Delaney & Bonnie - Some things are coming.

So who knows ....

Thanks a lot for this album. I've been looking for it a long time. In my opinion you shouldn't have put your logo on the front and back, but the music is the main thing!

Hi

just checked out the rapidshare link and it no longer works. Pity.

Just checked also but it's working fine.
Copy/paste carefully !

This is a wonderful album, Jean - i've never heard it before. I first recall when Radio Caroline came back in the early 70s and people like the late great Tony Allan played a lot of Delaney and Bobbie at the time. Lovely stuff, thanks for sharing.

After all those years of collecting albums one can hardly say these 10 are my fav's. But this one must have a high ranking.
Tonight I listened to an hour of Radio North Sea International and one hour of Radio Caroline, although not Tony Allen.
It is always fun to listen to those old tapes of offshore radio stations from them sixties. I have tons of them...
So funny to listen to the news of eg 1968_august_21....

What a shame to hear about Delaney's passing...This seems like a great site.
I'd love to listen to Motel Shot but can't seem to copy and paste the right combination..Tried 3 different ways.Perhaps someone could please give me a hint.Happy New Year
