Peter, Paul & Mary in concert 1962

I always liked Peter Yarrow, Paul Stookey & Mary Travers.
Nice harmony vocals, very pleasant to listen to.
Someone is looking for them and I'll try to be of help. Of the 15 LP's I have I will post here their live appeance from 1962.
So this is (also) a vinyl rip from a 2LP and it gives you almost 1 1/2 hours of great music/entertainment pleasure.
Hope she likes it. And you of course.

The tracklist & link is in the comments.

EDIT 2008_08_14
Alan is so right when he said in the comments this 2LP is from 1964 instead of 1962 !!

file is no longer available. Could you please restore this link? I have the vinyl but have been looking for digital copy for a long time, thank you.

Hi, I just checked the link and it is OK.
Maybe you used an extra space at the end by copy/paste the link ?

But please note. This is not an official CD but my own vinyl transported to mp3.

That odd. I tried with and without a space at the end and it still doesn't work for me. It opens a link to rapidshare, but a message saying "file not found" pops up every time I try.

And a vinyl rip would be great; I would try to rip my own copy but I no longer have a stereo system with a turntable, and I now do all of my listening to tunes on the pc.

Thanks for trying!

Ok, I got it. Your link was missing the ".rar" at the end.
It sounds great! Really takes me back a long ways. Thanks for posting this!

Hi again anonymous.
The link ends with 'rar' so I don't understand how it was a problem to you.

From left to right, from bottom to top, at last you got this great concert and that is what matters in the end to ya, isn't it ???!!!

Coincidentally I watched yesterday evening a great DVD called Peter, Paul & Mary - Carry It On (A Musical Legacy).
I'l post a DVD back scan in this topic.
I suppose we all loved the singing of Mary but also 'her looks'.... Well she is a little older now.... but aren't we all ?

Why does nobody play their records anymore? This is classic, timeless material from the first people to introduce me to Dylan. Wonderful, wonderful concert. It was 1964 by the way, not 62!;-)

Thanks again, Jean!

Alan, I always liked their three solo albums simply called Peter, Paul, Mary. I think it must be a set cause the sleeves are almost the same.

There are useless negative comments. I don't post them.

One doesn't have to agree with me about my musical choice but I post such a comment.

I like critical comments. Although I try my best to give correct information I may be wrong. Just checked at All Music Guide and they also say this album is from 1964. Don't know why I said 1962. It can be (recording, not release !) info on the sleeve or it can be just a typo mistake. I will not argue.
I will not change the topic of this article because of search engines like Google difference/problem but will add an 'edit'.

Alan, you are the first in two years who made this critical correction. Most people just wanna take.....
You even made your remark without downloading the album I notice...!!!
I think I have to be prepared for more critical notes in the future.... lol. Anyway, thank you very much !!

Hehehe, well I noticed that the track listing contained some tracks that they didn't record until a year or so later. I was growing up as a young teen to their material - they introduced me to Dylan and, just like the Everly Brothers, they had their own very special immediately identifiable harmonies. I adore their material. As for posting comments, I think it's the least I can do when you have made this music available to us. Many thanks again, Jean. Alan

Just stumbled across your site. Thanks for sharing this! It made my day :)
