A photo of Linda Ronstadt would have been fine. A few paragraphs about her would have been lovely.
Why post one of her albums? It is in print, it can make money for her, it is copyrighted. It is not yours to give. If she wanted to give it away she would do it on your own website.
Please respect the wishes of artists who have most obviously and definitely copyrighted their work, trademarked their names and put "ALL RIGHTS RESERVED" on their cds.
Don't they have rights? If not, why not?

Hi All, you Linda Ronstadt fans.
Rights have different weights. Do we have the right to share our poular culture? I say yes we do. Music and the songs we sing are like our language and are open to all to use, communicate with and share. To restrict the sharing of our culture weakens and degrades us.
So yes, artists have rights and people who live with music have rights too. The present USA IP laws are unworkable and infringe heavily on our right to share our culture. I support artists in their search to find a new business model that is in harmony with us citizens right to paticipate in and share our culture.
