Rapidshare.DE to Rapidshare.COM
Go to your RS.DE premium account. Theres the date mentioned when your account will expire. Between brackets there's a number. Copy/write down that number.
Go to RS.COM.Click below on the page join premium. On the next page there's a banner RS.DE users join. Click.
You get a page where you have to fill in that RS.DE number. That's all you have to do.
You get new inlogname/number and pass. Put that in a safe place for future use.
Your info/links on the old RS.DE stays there.
Just did it, worked perfect.
I was writing a short answer but it turned out to be an extensive one.
So I decided to make it another full post.
I hope I will be of help to you.
One remark.
Anonymous is always sooo difficult to respond to.
Do you have yourself a BLog ? Will you start one ?
When you have a RS premium account I assume you have/uploaded/downloaded a lot of music.
Why not go into the open ??
You have come to my BLog, even asked this question.
If you enjoy my choice of music (I must assume) I would like to know your musical taste. Maybe I can learn about it.
This remark goes for all you other anonymous people !!
Come on, dicuss rather than just 'take' !!
"In the future, RapidShare.de's direction will point even more to conventional webhosting. This means that uploads will be possible again very soon, but only premium users with a paid account will be able to upload their files. Due to this changes, the premium-points feature has been cancelled completely. We have applied an account extension to every customer with collected points. We have also given thoughts to premium customers with less than 10000 points. Accounts with 5000 points for example have been extended for 15 days."
WTF...What a scam, now you have to have two accounts...one on .de and one on .com.
BTW: The advertised "no download limit for premium users on the .com site has been changed......check the FAQ's.
Sign me,
Pissed Off
Suppose that will not be the case. But I will no one recommend at this stage te renew their RS.de account.

Quote RS.com faq (your info).

Is there a traffic limit for premium users?
For 99.5% of our customers, the answer is "No". Actually if you buy an account, you do not have a traffic limit enabled. However, if you download logs show more than 20 GB of downloads within the last 3 days, we will automatically apply a traffic limit of 5 GB per day to your account. If your account has a traffic limit, we will check how much you have downloaded in the last 5 days. If you have downloaded more than 25 GB (5 days * 5 GB = 25 GB), the download is not possible. You can check your premium zone if there is a traffic limit enabled for your account.

I think this is just a technical question as RS.com says. To me 5GB traffic a day is huge !!
When I look at my offered download's the number (or internet traffic) is very low.
Suppose this will be the same for most BLogs.
I/we do BLogging just for some personal fun. Not to harm anyone.
I can imagine if someone causes huge 'internet traffic' the owner of the server wants to do something about it.
So I can imagine RS.com changed their down-load policy.
A kind of 'fair use' policy.
Thanks for your comment anyway.
