I was in France : Richard Anthony

Last week I had to be some days in France. To me a little ('understatement'...) chaotic country. We have a saying in my country about that...... :-)
Had a little time to look on a flee markett.
Found some nice old LP's (like Edith Piaf and Les Compagnons de la Chanson) and even a great Barclay 10-cd box of Dalida (I think I must have her complete now in one effort .... and it did cost me only $40 !!)).

Next saturday (I anti dated this post ....) there will be another Popcorn prg by Theo Dumoulin on Laser radio so I present you here a nice French compilation by Richard Anthony. Cin cin is a nice Popcorn song and is included as you will see when you look in the comments.

Hi pal,
It's a pity to have a so bad quality.
Even if Richard Anthony wasn't a great artist (he didn't compose a single tune) he had a great voice (and so easy for him : I saw him at Olympia, another magical place to be in the 50's 60's like Piaf, the Stones & the Beatles...). Why don't you upload the famous Olympia concert from 1964 ? A magical moment, easy to find.
And if you are looking for great moment of the Olympia, there were a box of 10 CD for the anniversary of this stage : the Who, the Stones, Piaf, Dalida, Johnny Halliday, Charles Aznavour or even Frank Sinatra etc. The only one to miss is the ... King !
Good luck but next time you are in France, don't buy LP box for 40$ : are you american ??

Hi
I run my BLog just for personal fun (understanding internet and so on as explained at other places in the Blog).
I could place music in higher bitrate but offer on purpose just in 128kbits. It's more meant as an example. If one likes it one has to buy it, although that can be difficult with the stuff I offer). I hope anyway it's quite different compared to what the majority of other Bloggers do.

I don't have the Olympia concert you mention.
/easy to find/ ?
I will not search for it (and certainly not upload it), but if so, everyone may take it from there.

/Olympia, box of 10 CD for the anniversary of this stage/
I have some 'live at Olympia' LP's by Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Charles Aznavour ao. I think that's enough for me. But I will keep your suggestion in mind.

No, I'm not American.

Thanks for the comment, appreciated !

Note when you copy/paste the link you have to replace the '#' with an 'a' !!

It's just about 40MB because the bitrate is only 128KBits.
So don't expect CD quality !

When you see this in Google cache (or alike) you have to go to my BLog and this comment otherwise you cannot copy/paste this !
