Today 1943 Salvatore Adamo was born

This Youtube video is a 5 minute Live TV broadcast on famous Dutch TV program by WO Duys in 1964. Announcement by Duys : The family Adamo is the Italian family Trapp (Sound of music, if I'm not mistaken).... Adamo sings with some of his young family members his great Vous permettez monsieur ! It was his 'break though' in Holland. So funny to watch the 'sing-a-long' of the refrain !
Edit oct_04. In just 3 days already 45 views and even favorite ratings ! So it seems I made a good choice to offer ya this very rare performance.

A passion for music and an emotion-tinged vocal quality has made Salvatore Adamo (born 1 November 1943 in Comiso, Sicily, Italy) one of the most commercially successful singers in Europe and one of the most famous Italian immigrants living in Belgium. Since his debut album, Vous Permettez Monsieur, transformed him into an internationally-known celebrity, Adamo has sold over eighty million copies of his albums worldwide. Adamo, who emigrated to Belgium with his parents at the age of three, was raised in Jemappes and later moved to Brussels. A bright student, Adamo was able to avoid the coal mining industry that lured many Italian immigrants to Belgium and concentrate on his academic and musical studies. Adamo's influences included the music of Victor Hugo, Jacques Prevert and George Brassers and the Italian canzoetta and tango. While he recorded a collection of songs from Napoli, Adamo has sung in his adopted language of French. In the mid-'60s, Adamo reached his commercial peak, placing a number of songs at the top of the music charts.

Adamo - Comme Toujours 1964

You will have to do a little work to get the link. Sorry, but this seems, in my opinion, the best way to protect the links.
Link
: http://r#pidsh#re.com/files/66669010/A-CT_64.rar
Of course you understand to replace in r#pidsh#re twice the # in an a otherwise you don't have a 'valid' link !!
Paste this valid link in your browser-url and hit RETURN

Pass to extract the file : 071101

File is a small 45MB, 'cause I included the 10MB video and the songs are only in 128kbits

Alweer een prachtig album die ik al heeeeel lang aan het zoeken was.
Duizend maal dank hiervoor.
Ik zal er deze zomer zeker van genieten.

Please try to make us download things by putting nonsense on your blog! "Dolce Paolo" came out in 1966, so this collection is NOT from 1964. Adamo's 1964 album was called simply "Adamo", then came an album called "1965" (quess when?) and then one called "1966/1967". This download you are offering is some greatest hits collection from far later.

I hesitated to post the above nasty comment..... Today I did.

First of all, anonymous is right. This is a compilation from later than 1964.

putting nonsense on your blog isn't really a nice remark. Why didn't you commented a little friendlier ?
I also remember by IP logging you only came to this posting and didn't looked at other postings....
I don't wanna be the owner of a blog that simply post one/more commercial (new) available albums on the blog. Go for that elsewhere....
I give a lot of info and of course there will be mistakes.
