Today Little Richard celebrates his birthday
Also today, but in the year of the Lord 1932 (so he's a lot older....), Little Richard (Richard Wayne Penniman) was born in Macon, Georgia, USA.
Earlier I presented ya in a little videoclip his hitsong Tutti frutti.
Couldn't make up my mind what to present to ya. An album, a compilation album and if so which one. Perhaps the greatest of Little Richard's greatest hits compilations, the 25-track Georgia Peach features all of his biggest hits in chronological order, as well as terrific singles that never were as big as Tutti Frutti and Good Golly Miss Molly. I finally decided to post this one.
Little Richard - The Georgia Peach.
03-I'm Just A Lonely Guy
04-True Fine Mama
06-Slippin' And Slidin'
07-Long Tall Sally
11-Hey Hey Hey Hey
12-Rip It Up
15-Can't Believe You Wanna Leave
16-Shake A Hand
17-All Around The World
18-She's Got It
20-Good Golly Miss Molly
21-The Girl Can't Help It
22-Send Me Some Lovin'
23-Ooh! My Soul
24-Keep A Knockin'
25-Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On
The comment section, where else....
And if you like this compilation check out the great 3CD Little Richard - Specialty Records Years. Also Bear Family has some great Little Richard CD's !!
'Clickable' links are for you downloaders soooo convienent but the disadvantage is they don't seem to 'last' long.
The Blogger gets a lot of comments 'please re-up'...... Other, more appropriate/interesting comments, they don't get.... :(
So you will have to do a little work to get the link.
This seems, in my opinion, the best deal between 'protecting' my links and the least effort for you.
Link : http://r#pidsh#re.com/files/74709290/LR-TGP.rar
Of course you understand to replace in r#pidsh#re twice the # in an a otherwise you don't have a 'valid' link !!
Paste this valid link in your browser-url and hit RETURN. You can also copy/paste the link into your 'downloadmanager'.
Pass to extract this file : 071206
The file is a small 50MB, 'cause the songs are only in 128kbits
When you see this in Google or Yahoo cache or by my Blog's search function read first the RED instructions at the top left of my Blog !
Direct link (after that go to the plain comment of this 2007_december article !) :
