Brook Benton continuing from wednesday

Last wednesday I presented ya part 1 of Brook Benton's 40 greatest hits.
AMG Review by Greg Adams.
40 Greatest Hits is one of the most complete CD anthologies of Brook Benton's Mercury hits. The two-disc set includes every one of Benton's Top 100 pop hits, except for a Christmas single and a minor spoken-word hit. Everything else, including his two rock-oriented duets with Dinah Washington and smash hit The Boll Weevil Song, is here. Benton's smooth Nat King Cole-influenced vocals are very white-sounding at times, but he was a pioneer in hiring black string players for his sessions, and his eclectic choices of material show that he was an artist with broad tastes and exceptional talent. His range is remarkable, spanning gospel, pop, country, rock & roll, and easy listening balladry, and his recordings were often crisply produced in the Nashville Sound-style by Shelby Singleton. Colin Escott wrote the liner notes for this package, which concludes with Benton's last major hit, Rainy Night in Georgia. A cross-licensed collection could conceivably round up his remaining minor hits and be marginally more complete, but 40 Greatest Hits is the ideal summary of Benton's peak years on the chart.

Comments:
Love your site and I download many of your hard to find tunes. I did notice today that the link for Brook Benton #2 has a slight problem. Looks like you cut and pasted the http part twice.

Keep up the great work.

Hello AJ, thanks for the comment and how right you are !!!!
So I give it another try... :-)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Note : full screen window gives you the best view of the comments !

'Clickable' links are for you downloaders soooo convienent but the disadvantage is they don't seem to 'last' long.
The Blogger gets a lot of comments 'please re-up'...... Other, more appropriate/interesting comments, they sadly don't get.... :(
So you will have to do a little work to get the link.
This seems, in my opinion, the best deal between 'protecting' my links and the least effort for you.

Link :
http://r#pidsh#re.com/files/105981164/B_B-40GH2.rar
Of course you understand to replace in r#pidsh#re twice the # in an a otherwise you don't have a 'valid' link !!
Paste this valid link in your browser-url and hit RETURN. You can also copy/paste the link into your 'downloadmanager'.

Pass to extract the file : 080409
The file is a small 50MB, 'cause the songs are only in low bitrate 128kbits.

The next depends, amongst other things, on your security options in your browser and by so the ability to copy/paste the link.

When you see this in Google or Yahoo cache or by my Blog's search function read first the RED instructions at the top left of my Blog !
Direct link (after that go to the plain comment of this 2008_april article !) : JeansMusicBlog
Also possible : just click the 'post a comment' section here !
