Gypsy Popcorn tonight on Laser radio !

Every first week of the month I notice an remarkable increase of visitors from Belgium. Well, they know what is to come : POPCORN on Laser radio !
For tonight's Popcorn playlist go to LASER radio or the Gypsy Popcorn and take a look at the playlist.
Saturday at exactly 20hrs local_CET time (14hrs_ECT time) Theo Dumoulin starts again. You can attend live if you JOIN us ! This way you get the internet stream directly in your Winamp or Mediaplayer.
You can also go to the LASER stream page and their Laser stream.

You can join us in the Laser Radio chatroom.
Chatroom info if you use MIrc. Server: IRCnet Channel: #laserradio.nl
The language is Dutch but everyone can answer in English. Give it a try if you like the below tunes !! But please be there in time, we have just a small room ... :-)

To get everyone a littlebit 'in the mood' here's as usual my (alternative) playlist.
As usual, this is not a normal LP/CD, just some songs gathered from various singles/albums. I follow Theo's playlist tracks but just use some other songs by the same artists. So there is popcorn and non-popcorn !

Note : full screen window gives you the best view of the comments !

'Clickable' links are for you downloaders soooo convienent but the disadvantage is they don't seem to 'last' long.
The Blogger gets a lot of comments 'please re-up'...... Other, more appropriate/interesting comments, they sadly don't get.... :(
So you will have to do a little work to get the link.
This seems, in my opinion, the best deal between 'protecting' my links and the least effort for you.

Link :
http://r#pidsh#re.com/files/112200733/Popcorn2008_05_03_GP.rar
Of course you understand to replace in r#pidsh#re twice the # in an a otherwise you don't have a 'valid' link !!
Paste this valid link in your browser-url and hit RETURN. You can also copy/paste the link into your 'downloadmanager'.

Pass to extract the file : 080503
The file is a small 45MB, 'cause the songs are only in low bitrate 128kbits.
Please donnut give a nasty comment about that, neither about the sleeve.

>>
The next depends, amongst other things, on your security options in your browser and by so the ability to copy/paste the link.

When you see this in Google or Yahoo cache or by my Blog's search function read first the RED instructions at the top left of my Blog !
Direct link (after that go to the plain comment of this 2008_may article !) : JeansMusicBlog
Also possible : just click the 'post a comment' section here and you are able to copy/paste !

Can I make A suggestion......
If you want to here the real Tuff Popcorn been Played, I would recommend a trip to JAMAICA....

JAMAICA lives for this kind of oldies
Not only that, we have competition for who can play the most exclusive
records....My friend, Jamaica is the place if you want to hear some of the very rarest music you can find....
Big up to Belgium for keeping the fire burning on the other side of the globe!!!

Hi Raphy,
to be true I've never been to Jamaica. But I know some others who went to Jamaica just to discover the roots of great music as you say.
Must admit I didn't liked reggae as made by Bob Marley & Wailers aso. But time went by and I by now I do have quite a lot ska/reggae boxes....

In a private forum I wrote about and offered last week some Baba Brooks songs to give examples.
Ska/reggae Popcorn is great to dance on !!! Popcorn has to have a kind of latin sauce...

Every friday afternoon ECT/evening CET VTone does a show (see my Blog lately) with oldies and mostly when he has finished his public show he goes on with a private broadcast with a lot of jamaican music (as he is doing right now). Do you wanna have info, let me know by mail (see my profile).

To give complete info Theo Dumoulin does his 'mellow Popcorn' prg from Holland, the parties are in Belgium mostly and we like to fly/drive to attend some...
Finally, check my links on the left of the Popcorn sites in Belgium....
