Veronica_Tineke de Nooij - Koffietijd

The second in my old offshore radio Veronica broadcasts is by Tineke de Nooij.
Tineke (the nickname 'Tinus' was used for her....) started working for Veronica on 1960_august_27 and stayed until the station closure 1974_august_31.
I remember the story she was afraid to tell Uncle 'Bull' Verwey she was pregnant 'cause she thought to be fired as a not married girl. How different things turned out. When she came to the studio the next morning Uncle 'Bull' and his wife had arranged all kinds of children stuff, even a little children's bed....
She married producer Tony Vos who can be heard in this hour with his song Ik voel me zo alleen (a cover of Brenda Lee's All alone am I). They got two children.

Enough reason to hurry up to the comments to get this 1964 studio recording...

Note : full screen window gives you the best view of the comments !

'Clickable' links are for you downloaders soooo convienent but the disadvantage is they don't seem to 'last' long.
The Blogger gets a lot of comments 'please re-up'...... Other, more appropriate/interesting comments, they sadly don't get... :(
So you will have to do a little work to get the link.
This seems, in my opinion, the best deal between 'protecting' my links and the least effort for you.

Link :
Of course you understand to replace in r#pidsh#re twice the # in an a otherwise you don't have a 'valid' link !!
Paste this valid link in your browser-url and hit RETURN. You can also copy/paste the link into your 'downloadmanager'.

Pass to extract the file : 080917
The file is a small 30MB, 'cause the songs are only in low bitrate 128kbits.
Please donnut give a nasty comment about that : check 'My opinion about bitrates' on 2008_jan_25.

The next depends, amongst other things, on your security options in your browser and by so the ability to copy/paste the link.
When you see this in Google or Yahoo cache or by my Blog's search function read first the RED instructions at the top left of my Blog !
Direct link (after that go to the plain comment of this 2008_september article !) : JeansMusicBlog
Also possible : just click the 'post a comment' section here and you are able to copy/paste !

....And while you are there you might as well give a comment yourself....
Radio Veronica was one of my favourite radio stations at the end of the 60's and during the 70's. In 1974 Veronica did stop and many people did sign a paper for that veronica must stay I have signed it too.

Later when Veronica did broadcast from Hilversum the station was a garbage station it had not the caracter from the old pirate station Veronica we all does remember and like for the good music. Now Veronica is more a station for the young people even so the TV station is mostly for teens and not for older people 40+.
So I take my cd's and listen to them so I can hear the music I and we all like so much golden oldies of the 50s and 60s we does not hear on the modern radio stations.
