Thanks Jean, Johnny Preston brought out a few good singles but apart from Running Bear and Charming Billy and mayhe Cradle Of Love we did not hear much elso of his in Australia. I was interested to read that Boots Randolph and Floyd Cramer were on some of his records, I enjoy a lot of their instrumentals. Was Bobby Moore the Bob Moore who had the record 'Mexico'?
Regards Ray

Bob L Moore is a bass player, born 30 november 1932 Nashville.

He played with Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Wayne Newton, Sammi Davis Jr, Quincy Jones, Andy Williams, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Johnny Halliday, Roy Orbison, Connie Frances, Burl Ives, Julie Andrews, Bob Dylan and other artists.
His bold, distinctive, bass lines have graced many timeless recordings such as "Crazy" as performed by Patsy Cline, "He Stopped Loving Her Today" by George Jones and "Rainy Night In Georgia" by Brook Benton. Remember also the bass intro in Roy Orbison - Dream baby.
Check this link : partially Bob Moore discography

Bob Moore - Mexico. It is actually called The Bob Moore Orchestra where is stated : Bob Loyce Moore (bass, leader, conductor).

Ray, to be short..... : yes.....
