Jean,
Thank you so much for yet another excellent post from the Cruisin' series. Robert W was indeed a legend. Morgan was briefly on the air in Chicago (WIND-560) but our weather was a little too cold for him and he moved back to L.A.
I have mixed feelings about waiting for the last installment in March. While it will be great to have a chance to listen to Johnny Holliday after not having heard him in so many years, it will also mean that your wonderful blog is one step closer to the end. Hopefully you will reconsider your decision and continue to make posts. It is nice for us here in America to know what our friends "over there" on the other side of the pond have listened to in the past, and what they are still listening to today.
Thanks again, for everything, Jean.

Ah, my friend, we approach the end. And with many, many thanks.
This is a pretty good set. The songs are all pretty good here, with Righteous Brothers & Chuck Berry. Even the somber EVE OF DESTRUCTION.
So, we have the McCoys HANG ON SLOOPY (The official rock song of the United State of Ohio..and that is true!) leading us to Johnny Holliay in Cleveland, the home of Rock and Roll. Looking forward to completing the set.
Thank you many many times.

Hey! About 30 years ago, when I was at university, I discovered the Cruisin' series. I bought a few of the vinyls and thought they were great. But Robert W. Morgan was always my favourite--and still is! Good to see others feel the same way.
Note : full screen window gives you the best view of the comments !
'Clickable' links are for you downloaders soooo convienent but the disadvantage is they don't seem to 'last' long.
The Blogger gets a lot of comments 'please re-up'...... Other, more appropriate/interesting comments, they sadly don't get... :(
So you will have to do a little work to get the link.
This seems, in my opinion, the best deal between 'protecting' my links and the least effort for you.
NEW LINK :
http://r#pidsh#re.com/files/358439702/C-65_RWM_KHJ_LA.rar
Of course you understand to replace in r#pidsh#re twice the # in an a otherwise you don't have a 'valid' link !!
Pass to extract the file : 100303
The file is a small 40MB, 'cause the songs are only in very low bitrate 128kbits.
Please donnut give a nasty comment about that : check 'My opinion about bitrates' on 2008_jan_25.
>>
The next depends, amongst other things, on your security options in your browser and by so the ability to copy/paste the link.
When you see this in Google or Yahoo cache or by my Blog's search function read first the RED instructions at the top left of my Blog !
Direct link (after that go to the plain comment of this 2009_february article !) : JeansMusicBlog
Also possible : just click the 'post a comment' section here and you are able to copy/paste !
....And while you are there you might as well give a comment yourself....
