Don & Phil Everly
As a member of The International Everly Brothers fanclub one of my first postings has to be one of them.
Everyone knows the famous Cadence classic songs. It's Everly Time is an 10-inch LP which was only available in Holland. I treasure it.
At Warner Brothers they still made some fine collector's (Cathy's clown eg).
Having split they also made a few solo LP's like Don's Brother Jukebox 1975.
I prefer Phil's smoothy voice. Here's a compilation cd : Everly, Phil - A portrait of Phil Everly 1993.
See comment for more info.

Nice to see someone search that way back in the Blog to read/find an item.
I'm sure you'll be pleased by Phil.
I've been lucky to see them twice in concert, the first time was a few years ago as guests to Simon and Garfunkel when they did just 4 songs, the second time was 2 or 3 years ago when they did a full set. I'll gladly confess I had tears in my eyes to be able to hear those beautiful harmonies live. Someone once described a piece of music as "achingly beautiful", so beautiful your heart just aches. That's how I think of Don and Phil and their music. Many thanks Jean.
You like The Everly Brothers ???? Going through my Blog there is more to come...
The Everlies I heard maybe a year or so later and it was their harmonies that touched my heart. There's something about that genetic link that presumably makes the vocal passages similar, because their harmonies are something special.
