Today 2004 Doris Troy died

Doris Troy (born 6 January 1937 and died 16 February 2004 from emphysema at her home in Las Vegas, Nevada) was an American R&B singer, known to her many fans as "Mama Soul."
She was born Doris Payne in The Bronx, the daughter of a Barbadian Pentecostal minister. Her parents disapproved of "subversive" forms of music like rhythm & blues, so she cut her teeth singing in her father's choir. She was working as an usherette at the Apollo where she was discovered by the 'Godfather of Soul', James Brown.
Doris Troy worked with Solomon Burke, The Drifters, Cissy Houston and Dionne Warwick before she co-wrote and recorded Just One Look which hit #10 in 1963. The song has been covered by The Hollies, Linda Ronstadt, Bryan Ferry and Harry Nilsson, among others.

Doris Troy - Just One Look includes nice Popcorn songs like the title song, Time and What'cha Gonna Do About It
01-Just One Look
02-Bossa Nova Blues
03-Stormy Weather
04-Someone Ain't Right
05-Lazy Days (When Are You Coming Home)
06-Be Sure
07-Tomorrow Is Another Day
08-But I Love Him
09-What'cha Gonna Do About It
10-Trust In Me
11-Somewhere Along The Way
12-Time
13-Please Little Angel
14-One More Chance
15-Hurry
16-He Don't Belong To Me
17-How My Heart Aches (Heartaches)
18-You'd Better Stop
19-I'll Do Anything (He Wants Me To Do)

Note : full screen window gives you the best view of the comments !

'Clickable' links are for you downloaders soooo convienent but the disadvantage is they don't seem to 'last' long.
The Blogger gets a lot of comments 'please re-up'...... Other, more appropriate/interesting comments, they sadly don't get.... :(
So you will have to do a little work to get the link.
This seems, in my opinion, the best deal between 'protecting' my links and the least effort for you.

Link :
http://r#pidsh#re.com/files/92386577/T_D-JOL.rar
Of course you understand to replace in r#pidsh#re twice the # in an a otherwise you don't have a 'valid' link !!
Paste this valid link in your browser-url and hit RETURN. You can also copy/paste the link into your 'downloadmanager'.

Well, that wasn't difficult, was it ? Now your download takes some time.
Think about the efforts/time a good Blogger (I hope I am) spends to compile a nice offer, uploading it to a server, making a background article.
Shouldn't you, while simply waiting for the download to finish, give some remarks why you picked this particular 'share' ?
Of course you should and you will if you are just a littlebit grateful to get this (NOT CD quality !) share.
Same goes for what you what you get from other Bloggers !!

Pass to extract the file : 080216
The file is a small 40MB, 'cause the songs are only in low bitrate 128kbits

Thanks jean for the great music!!!

Doris Troy brightened my day, considerably!
Thanks for the download.
As to the bitrate debate...as a medium, mp3 sucks.
Lo-fi sound reproduction... part of the global cultural
dumbing-down that's being foisted on us daily.
As well, i hear an obvious (to me) difference in
quality in bitrates...320 presents a more dynamic
sound over 128...as do 190 and 256...i'd take the
pepsi challenge on that, any day.
It is, of course, polite to thank the poster for the
effort. Unfortunately, Emily Post went out that
window, some time ago. Music belongs to the
people. Bloggers, please know that your service
to humanity is truly reward in itself.
Cheers! DjK

Thanks for this music
