Cliff Richard and Phil Everly were dreaming ...
Listened last days to a lot of old Everly Brothers LP's and went through my Blog what I posted about hem. Wasn't much. If there are suggestions/requests feel free to comment.
I posted this in 2006 and want to repost this Youtube video. Watch it, it's great.
All I have to do is dream by Cliff and Phil, a little older of course (aren't we all ?) both still sounding great ! Youngsters can learn about real singing.

When were you 21 ?
Today, saturday, a friend (that's to say an internet musical friend, never met her) celebrates her birthday.Don't dare to ask how old she's now but certainly not 21 anymore.
Maybe double that.... Hope she will still be pleased...
Hope also she will be pleased with this little image to honour her (although that pipe .... probably not appropriate).
I'm not invited to her private dinner but still want to give her a propriate present.
She likes old German/French and even Scandinavian music.

Was a fan of European off shore radio station Radio London. In my archives nothing interesting for this day I think.
So I decided for this Cliff Richard celebration album 21 Today which was issued in 1961_10_14.
Was she already born then ?
Cliff is still singing. I think he was/is a great artist. I remember his superb spontanious live 'a capella' performance at Wimbledon some years ago when the tennis matches were suspended because of the rain. Was a great 'sing a long' session.
Could any of the present 'artists' do such a thing ? Don't think so.

Cliff in Spain
I always quarreled with my sister about Elvis and Cliff in the old days.
Nowadays we like them both.
Someone asked for some Cliff Richard songs and he seems to be especially interested to get 63-Richard, Cliff - When in Spain in a short time.
Although I have quite a few I sadly don't have this, or do I ?

Richard, Cliff sings Elvis songs
Always quarreled with my little sister about Elvis and Cliff.She adored Elvis the pelvis, I was a Cliff fan.
But time heals all wounds, we now like them both.
Elsewhere (can't say where ... but since a few weeks the guy is already some kind of friend) I noticed a fantastic piece about Elvis.
Watched today the UK Cup final soccer between Liverpool and Westham United (which my fav 'the hammers' did loose).
During the match I had a little thought about how to reply to him.
Came up with the idea to counter attack him with some Elvis songs sung by Cliff.
Are here more sir Cliff fans who can help ? :-)
